After the long, hard winter that we endured around here, everyone is practically giddy to see spring arrive! We've had 70 degree weather this week and lots of flowers have started blooming. Hooray for spring!
I decided to celebrate by making some springtime cards. Too fun! This time around I was looking to make a lot of cards in a little time. So, I chose to try out one of the Workshop templates in Jeanette Lynton's Wishes card-making book.
I chose the Caboodle paper kit which has the perfect colors for spring: fresh spring green, crystal blue sky, buttery yellow sunshine, and a delicious, saturated orangy-peach (we call it 'sorbet') that I see in tulips and azaleas in the springtime. It's warm and happy paper!!
Then I grabbed a few spring stamp sets: Easter Eggs and the March and April Word Puzzles - all retired unfortunately, but the 'In the Month of...' stamp set line would work just as well.
All set to go! I sat down, cut my paper, stamped my images, started piecing cards together...WOWZA! This workshop template is the company motto at it's best:
Faster.
Simpler.
Easier.
Oh how I love this company...friend to a busy woman who still loves to create pretty things when I have a few spare minutes!
Here they are, my beautiful bounty:
The template actually makes 16 cards - I have 2 of each design that you see here! Isn't that just fabulous?! Happy Spring to all!!
