Sketchin' Away

So, this week I tried out Shimelle Laine's Sketch of the Week - well, by now it's really last week's sketch! I've glanced at plenty of these but this is the first time I've jumped in and tried one. I'm loving doing the one page layouts these days! I am apparently on a mission to scrap all the random 1-3 picture bunches I have left over from the past several years...the one pagers are working perfectly for this mission. It also isn't quite the same time commitment as a two page layout and that is working to my advantage. It keeps me scrapping, if only just a little bit at a time.
The pictures I decided to use for this are pictures from a playgroup birthday party when Big Brother was turning two. I really had fun with the color and energy on this page. I wanted it to feel like a party!!
