Idea Book's a Comin'!

Woo hoo! The brand new Autumn/Winter Idea Book launches tomorrow! And we're having a party to celebrate:Come and join us if you live in my area! My launch parties are always tons of fun - just ask anyone who's been to one! In the fall, I give tickets (for chances to win prizes) for each piece of football logo wear someone puts on. It's quite entertaining to watch the arrivals! Here's Becky last year:
We play fun games (CTMH Jeopardy!), I show off new products, and people get a chance to see the latest and greatest as well as WIN some of the latest and greatest. What could be better?!
Everyone also gets to check out my workshops that I've put together for fall. This year, I'm really excited about our Club kits (also known as Workshops on the Go). The new papers in this book are fabulous and I'm really looking forward to all of these fun layouts. Here's a sneak peek at September's club:
So much fun (& new) stuff is happening in the company right now...I am pumped up to share it all. I've also been brewing up fun (& new) ideas for my own personal business. It's going to be a great year...come help me 'kick it off' right.
Oh...and: Go Peyton! :)

Party Time!

I am SO excited! I'm doing a birthday party 'CTMH-style' for the daughter of a friend next Saturday. My friend is a stamper and enjoys Close To My Heart products. Her daughter turned 9 recently and decided that she would like to do a stamp/scrapbooking project for her party. So, my job was to create a project for 14 girls to do that is a little bit scrappy, a little bit stampy, and a lot of fun!
I spent quite awhile working on this yesterday and I am so happy with the result! I had a ton of fun making this album and accomplished all the goals I had in mind. It's adorable and easy; it will give them a taste of what both scrapbooking and stamping are like; and with different papers all pre-cut, and several stamp sets to choose from, it will give them a little room to experiment with the creative process.
I've been wanting to try a party like this for a long time so I'm very excited that I was approached with this opportunity. I think it's such an awesome party idea...the project can be tailored to the host child's interests and the guest go home with an absolutely rockin' party favor!!
For this party, the birthday girl picked the All-Sorts chipboard album and the paper pack Tinkerin' and I gave some suggestions for embellishments from which the mom chose: Badge Buttons, Just Blooms, brads, and ribbon.
I can't wait for party day!!
