I Made Something!

Yes, it's really true! After much too long a break from actually playing with paper and ink I created some photo gifts for my son's preschool teachers.
One of my very favorite products from Close To My Heart is our 6x6 Accordion Album. This is such a go-to product for me! It's simple to put together, economical, holds a bunch of pictures, and displays wonderfully. I reach for this 3 times out of 4 if I'm making a gift!
This was a joint gift from three of us - I created it, one mom helped with the cost of supplies, and another mom printed out pictures. I wanted to give them something they could display on a desk or bookshelf so they could see the sweet, shining faces every day.
They turned out really well...and the teachers loved them!

What do you reach for most often when you want to make a gift for someone? I'm always searching for more ideas!

That's really sweet. When my daughter finished Year 1 I organised for all the kids to make a tag, which I then put together with a split ring decorated with ribbon and made an envelope from school themed cardstock for the teacher to keep them all in.

Hooray for making! Wow, as a teacher I'd be chuffed to bits to be given something as gorgeous as this :)
